Mockup definition from wikipedia:
In manufacturing and design, a mockup, or mock-up, is a scale or full-size model of a design or device, used for teaching, demonstration, design evaluation, promotion, and other purposes. A mockup is a prototype if it provides at least part of the functionality of a system and enables testing of a design.
And it couldn’t be easier?
It is a prepared graphic file which we can easily paste our project without much graphic knowledge to show it in a “real” environment. It does not require that the person for whom we present a certain look must have imagined how it will look, e.g. after printing, after publishing on the Internet, etc. Often, avoiding further corrections.
Example of Mockup
The advantage of mockups is simplicity of use.
- Just double-click on Smart Object that is the image on the left of “Replace it”
2. Add your project in a newly opened window.
3. Save the changes and close the window.
4. The design is perfectly placed on the mockup and ready for presentation to the world.
As I mentioned at the very beginning, in a few mouse clicks,
you can present your project in an interesting way.
